Donate Now

Hurricane Melissa made landfall as a Category 5 storm on October 28–31, 2025. It severely impacted western Jamaica, flattening homes, farms, roads, and infrastructure. 1.6 million people are affected, of which 90,000 families are severely impacted. The country faces huge agricultural losses with key areas devastated.

Salvation Army Response:

  • As of December, 31, 2025, over 225,000 people have been served with 125,000 meal kits, 70,000 hot meals, over 22,000 bottles of water, 25,000 hygiene kits and 8,600 food parcels.
  • The International Development Team is currently providing direct support to 22 churches and their surrounding communities with weekly food, water, Starlink and resource deliveries for distribution to survivors.
  • The Jamaican Defence Force (JDF) has provided consistent manpower and security at many of our distribution events.

Jamaica Curling would like to encourage all curling supporters from all countries to support this appeal.
