2026 Regina Backpack Program
The Salvation Army’s Backpack Program in Regina ensures that children from low‑income families can start the school year with confidence and the tools they need to succeed. Each child registered from kindergarten to Grade 12 will receive a brand-new backpack filled with essential, grade-appropriate school supplies - items that many families simply cannot afford as the cost of living continues to rise. For parents already struggling to cover basic needs like food and housing, school supplies can be an overwhelming expense. Your support removes that barrier. Each backpack provided eases financial pressure and helps create a more stable start to the school year for a child in our community. Last year, more than 1,500 children registered for assistance. As demand continues to grow, your generosity makes a meaningful and immediate difference for local families.
